The tutorials other people wrote are at the top. The ones I wrote I tried to make as remedial as possible so anyone could do them. If you want to learn how to program and you know absolutely nothing then start start with the Slackware tutorial.

Note: I haven't tested my Slackware tutorial or any of the Windows stuff so I'm not positive those 1st two tutorials are 100% correct.
After you finish the programming tutorials and learn C++ you might want to check out Lazy Foo's website above. I don't like the way he installs the SDL libraries on MinGW, though. If I were you I'd build from source. But he definitely has the best tutorial website I've ever seen so check it out.
